Ava Gesell

“When my daughter was 3 years old, she took her first Princess Dance Camp with Ms. Jen and Dance Connections. By the end of the week, I was so impressed and asked Ms. Jen if she taught lessons during the year. Lucky for us, the answer was yes!  Ava is now 17 and a senior in high school. We moved to a new house that more than doubled our distance, and even then knew we did not care,  this was dance family we wanted for Ava.

Ms. Jen and her entire staff embody love, compassion, and inclusivity.

There is a place for every dancer not only in the physical space of her studio, but in her heart. Ms. Jen stresses the power of dance not only for the dancers physical well being but mental too. Ava has been allowed to be silly  or serious, and everyplace in between. Some of her best friendships have been found amongst her fellow dancers. We are confident when she is at Dance Connections and in the company of the other dancers that she is being supported, encouraged, and truly allowed to be herself. The skills that Ava has learned both on and off the dance floor are to many to list.  We will forever be thankful for the more than 14 years that Ava spent as a member of the Dance Connections family.”
