Macie Globerman
“Our daughter, Macie, began her Dance Connections journey at age 3 while attending Princess Dance Camp. Macie was shy when faced with new situations. I remember feeling nervous about dropping her off until I met her teacher, Jen Aversa, a kind, comforting person who set my mind at ease. Ms. Jen and all of the teachers at Dance Connections provide rewarding opportunities in a safe environment.
Although there were challenges to overcome, Macie stayed committed and has found great success from her experiences with Dance Connections. Macie has been a member of the studio’s Dance Company for 8 years. Through Dance Connections, Macie took on a leadership role as a Traveling Tutus Ambassador where she helped less fortunate dancers experience the joy of dance.
With the nurturing environment and support of Dance Connections staff, Macie developed self-confidence and now chooses to volunteer as a teacher assistant. In this role, Macie helps to instill confidence in young dancers who are just beginning their own dance journeys.
Having Dance Connections by her side every step of the way, Macie has persevered to become the beautiful dancer she is today. There’s no other place we would rather have Macie grow up then at Dance Connections.”
