“Keeping your child in dance at a young age is truly a gift to them. As they learn the joy of movement and expression, they build lifelong skills. It takes time! Perhaps your dancer feels shy or even stubborn about dancing with an audience. I’ve been there as a mom.
My beautiful dancer refused on stage to dance in her recital, not once but twice! I did not give up on her or dance, although it was tempting.
It takes patience and time.
With the wonderful and kind teachers at Dance Connections, she found her joy! Now she dances en pointe, in solos, and in her high school dance program. I give Ms. Jen and her dance studio the credit for developing my girl into the wonderful dancer she is today!”
