Kassi Serafini

Kassi Serafini holds a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography, and she is certified in K-12 Dance Education, as well as Interdisciplinary Arts Infusion. Throughout her dance career, Kassi has performed and had her choreography showcased nationally in locations including the Best of Maryland Arts Festival, Disney World, Hawaii, the Daytona 500, and the American College Dance Festival. Kassi directed the Bates Middle School performing and visual art magnet, as well as the comprehensive dance program in Anne Arundel County from 2014-2019 and was awarded Maryland Dance Educator of the Year. Kassi has been teaching dance at many private studios, public schools, and nonprofit organizations in the Baltimore/Washington area for the past 12 years. She also enjoys choreographing many local musicals in Howard County schools and community theatre organizations. Kassi is known as an enthusiastic, caring, and motivating teacher who believes that dance is for everyone. One of her biggest joys in life is sharing her passion for dance with others. She is thrilled to be back at Dance Connections after a few years away!
