Courtney Clutts has been dancing competitively and non-competitively since the age of three. At 15, she began to study under Jen Aversa, having the opportunity to work with a wide variety of guest choreographers and styles of dance. During this time, she was a part of the state championship winning Poms team at Atholton High School and danced multiple times at the Maryland State High School Festival of the Arts under the direction of Heather Haffey. She has had the opportunity to study dance education at Salisbury University and participate in the Hip Hop multicultural group, Untouchables, as well as perform with the university’s Poms team.
After transferring to Towson University, she had the opportunity to take master classes and perform with Killamotions, a Hip Hop production team, as well as obtain her Zumba Certification. She graduated from Towson University with a dual Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Beyond having a love of dance performance, Courtney has enjoyed having the opportunity to enrich the lives of students in and outside of the studio.
